New Features and Improvements:
RoomKeyPMS Enhancements
GDS Linking
Properties will now have direct access to linking Room Types and Rate Plans through the various GDS/IDS Interfaces with RoomKeyPMS. Credit Card Storage
We have recently completed another PCI Audit to ensure RoomKeyPMS is fully up to date with the rules and regulations outlined for PCI Compliance. Addressed in this release will be the storage of Credit Card numbers in note fields in RoomKeyPMS (Reservation Note, Guest Note, and Group Note). Any credit cards will be masked with ”*” as credit cards should not be stored in these fields.
Group Invoices
When a group is set up to have Room and Tax Direct Billed to the City Ledger, each room will be transferred to one invoice in City Ledger. Should the property need to create a separate invoice for one of the guests in the group, RoomKeyPMS will now display the Guest Name as the Invoice Name when using the City Ledger Transfer function. Interfaces & Integrations:
SynXis Interface
A significant change has been made to the SynXis GDS Interface that will greatly improve data upload/download speeds. The ability to upload restrictions to Derived Rate Plans (similar to how RoomKeyPMS does Rate Plan tiering) has been added to the interface. As an example, on one of our test properties, we were able to reduce the data for rate changes on 247 Rate Plans down to 6 Master Rate Plans. New Feature for ability to send Room Revenue by Room Number; this type of reporting is a good fit for Property/Condo Management properties (PLEASE NOTE: the interface also reports regular room revenue and statistics for properties that do not look at Room Number breakdown). Tweaks and Defects Fixes:
We have also fixed a number of defects in RoomKeyPMS including:
- Cannot duplicate Rate Plan names in Rate Wizard
- Cannot set more than one Rate Plan as Lock off
- Marketing Opt In will be defaulted to “Yes” when reservations made on eRes and GDS
- Errors caused with No Shows between midnight and properties Rollover time has been fixed
- Inactive Rate Plans will display in the old rates area, when clicking on the “Inactive” radio
- Guest notes sharing across chained properties has been fixed
- “Stay” column was disappearing on some of the view screens
- Rate Plans with blank name is no longer showing up for reservations
- Reservation notes were cut off on In House and Arrivals report, field has been made larger on report
- When running Activity Log by “Date” and “User”, Agent name will now show on the report
