Profile Match & Merge - Troubleshooting

I am using Internet Explorer and my screen looks strange or things don’t work as expected.

We recently updated our list of supported browsers to make it possible for us to develop functionality more quickly.

Make sure your default web browser is set to Chrome, as you’ll notice some things behaving strangely with Internet Explorer. Google provides instructions on how to change your default web browser to Chrome.

My default browser isn’t Chrome -- I tried pasting the URL into Chrome and it didn’t work as I expected.

I don’t see a web browser come up when I click on the Merge Profiles button in the Guest Profile dialog.

Check that you have updated RoomKeyPMS desktop to version 8.23.0.3 or higher of RoomKeyPMS desktop. Older versions of RoomKeyPMS desktop will display an error message in a dialog instead.

I don’t see the Merge Profiles button in the Guest Profile dialog.

You may not have the correct permissions set up to access this functionality. Check with your account administrator to see if they’ll grant you access to permission 1522.
