Transaction Register Balance Report

The Transaction Register Balance Report is a complete listing of all transactions that took place in the PMS on a specific date, or for a selected date range.

There are 3 options for running this report:

  • Detail > Compact
  • Detail > With Guest Names
  • Summary

This article will review each option.

Detail > Compact

Reports > Financial > Transaction Register Balance > Detail > Compact

This report provides a detailed breakdown of all transactions preformed in the PMS for a selected date period.

The report includes:

  • Res ID
  • Room Number
  • Folio
  • Clerk
  • Date
  • Reference
  • Amount
  • Tax
  • Total
Detail > Compact

When would I use this report?

  • This report can be used to find individual postings posted to a guest folio
  • It can also be used to see how much revenue was posted for a specific Transaction Code

Detail > With Guest Names

Reports > Financial > Transaction Register Balance > Detail > with Guest Name

This report provides a detailed breakdown of all transactions, along with the guest name, that were preformed in the PMS for a selected date period.

The report includes:

  • Res ID
  • Room Number
  • Folio
  • Clerk
  • Date
  • Reference
  • Amount
  • Tax
  • Total
  • Guest Name

Summary

When would I use this report?

This report can be used to view the total postings to each Transaction Code for specific date, or date range.
