New Features and Improvements:

PREVIEW - Inventory Calendar Optional Display

Clients have the ability to Preview a new optional enhancement that is being made for the F12 - Inventory Calendar.  This Preview allows you to see how the Inventory Calendar is being updated so you can quickly view availability & quote rates directly from the Inventory Calendar.  You can Preview the upcoming Enhanced Inventory Calendar  by going to System Configuration -> Preferences -> and checking the “Display Rates in Inventory Calendar” checkbox.  Please note where this is a PREVIEW feature as additional functionality will be added for the official launch next  month in Version 8.11.  To learn more about the Inventory Calendar Preview - CLICK HERE.  

NOTE:  This feature is only available for clients using the Rate Wizard for managing their RoomKey Rates.

Report Wizard Custom Fields

Display Balance Funds on Guest Folio in Secondary Currency

When operating a property in certain parts of the world you may wish to display the balance on the Guest Folios in two separate currencies (local currency + one other currency).  Should you wish for this feature to be implemented at your property, please contact RoomKey Support at support@roomkeypms.com

NOTE:  This feature cannot fluctuate the 2nd currency, it would be a fixed 2nd currency and only applies to the Balance of the Guest Folio.

Tweaks and Defects Fixes:

We have also fixed a number of defects in RoomKey including:

  • Guest Info Tab - Tabbing has been tweaked in the Guest Info Tab (New Res, Walk In or Change Stay) so you can now tab more fluidly throughout the screen while entering Guest Info.
  • City Ledger Invoice - When emailing an Invoice an image of the invoice will now be included in the email.
  • City Ledger Statement - When emailing an Statement an image of the invoice will now be included in the email.
