Properties will now have the ability to schedule automatic emails, inviting the guest to use the Mobile Checkin.
Configuration
System Configuration => Property => Mobile Checkin:
- From Name: - will appear on the from email address
- Reply To Email: - should the guest have a question or need to speak to someone at the property about their reservation, put the property email address that would be best suited
- Reply To Name: - be sure that this will get noticed at the hotel as it will be important to respond to the guest in a timely manner
- BCC Email: - guest will not see this email address but a copy of the email correspondence will be sent to this address
- Subject: - this can be modified by the property => this will appear as the subject in the guest's inbox
- Schedule Delivery: emails will start sending out at 8:00 am
***SPECIAL NOTE: if a reservation is created after the Scheduled Delivery, the system will know to automatically send an email for this new reservation***
Exclusion Rules are for those guests that you DO NOT want the Checkin Email to be sent to:
- Client Type
- Market Segments
- Rate Plan
In the example below, Group/Tour, House Accounts, and Wholesaler will not receive the checkin emails:

- When clicking on his reservation, we can see the Reason for Failure (at bottom of page) is that his reservation was on the exclusions filter
