Required Vehicle Information fields apply to RoomKeyPMS only at this time. An update will be deployed in the coming weeks which will apply these Required Fields to Mobile Check-In and Paperless Check-In as well.
The following Vehicle Information fields can now be set as Required Fields in RoomKeyPMS:
- License Plate Jurisdiction *newly added as of RoomKeyPMS Version 11.0.0.64*
- License Plate Number
- Vehicle Make
- Vehicle Model
Required Fields are accessed by going to System Configuration -> Required Fields.
To avoid Clerk errors when updating/viewing Guest Reservation, if License Plate Jurisdiction is flagged as required, ensure ALL Clerks are updated to RoomKeyPMS Version 11.0.0.64 or higher.
When Vehicle fields are selected as Required two things will occur:
- the selected fields will appear bolded on the Guest Info screen
- a No Vehicle button will appear - this button will automatically populate all the Vehicle fields with "N/A"
The new Vehicle License Jurisdiction field can be added to Report Wizard Reports.
It can also be added to Custom Reg Cards
