This document is intended to give a brief overview of the new Sundry Sales Web-based Module - for a more detailed documentation please see Sundry Sales Training Documents. To use the Sundry Sales Web-based Module a property must have:
- RoomKeyPMS Powered by Fullsteam
- Online Processing Available configured for Windows User (System Configuration -> Property -> OLP Tab)
How to Setup Categories
Categories are used to help make it easier for Clerks to locate the Transaction Codes that are required to make a sale. The gear icon is used to Add, Modify, and Delete Categories.
Making a Sale
Sales are made by selecting the + sign next to the Item being purchased.
- Transaction Codes with fixed prices will display the price
- Transaction Codes without a fixed price will need their price entered when adding the Item
- Prices can be modified after Items is added - Fixed Prices can only be modified if a Clerk has the Guest Management Permission - #171 - Override Fixed Charge Amounts.
- Reference is used to make notes regarding the selected Item
- X can be used to remove an item after it has been added
- Clear All removes all selected items
- Select Payment button to apply payment(s)
Payments are made by selecting the Payment Details into the Post Payment screen. To make payment:
- Select Transaction Code
- Confirm Amount being paid
- If splitting the payment, change the Amount that will be applied to the first Payment Type
- Enter Reference information regarding the payment (if applicable)
- Use Terminal checkbox:
- checked = EMV payment
- uncheck = manually enter Credit Card information
- Select Post Payment to process payment
Payment Successful message will appear to show payment was processed successfully.
Multi Payments cannot be made with the Post to Room Payment option
If Amount was changed in order to apply a Multi Payment, select Settle in the Open check area to complete payment
Checks should NOT be left open as this will cause the City Ledger to be out of balance during your nightly Essential Balance checks
Once payment is complete, select Yes to view & print receipt.
Select Print icon to print Receipt
Completed Sales can be found under the Settled section of Sundry Sales
Managing Open Sales
All Open Sales with a partial payment applied can be found here. The Settle button can be used to complete the sales process by applying the final payment or the Reverse button can be used to reverse the sale.
Checks should NOT be left open as this will cause the City Ledger to be out of balance during your nightly Essential Balance checks
