The Mobile Check-In module allows hotels to offer a mobile check-in experience for guests prior to arrival. With Mobile Check-In, hotels can schedule prompts for their arriving guests to confirm their contact information, review & sign a Mobile Check-In Form (AKA virtual registration card), as well as the option of collecting guest credit card* information and identification.
*A credit card interface is required. Some restrictions may apply, please see the CC Integration Tab information below.

Email Settings
In the Mobile Module, within the Check-In tab:
- Select the Check-In Email Tab
- In the Email Settings tab, select the Modify button
- Enable the Check In Email checkbox
- Enter information into the following:
- Required: From Name, Reply To Email, Reply to Name, Subject, Schedule Delivery
- Optional: BCC Email
- Select the Save button
Exclusion Rules (Optional)
In the Mobile Module, within the Check-In tab:
- Select the Check-In Email Tab
- Select the Exclusion Rules tab
- Select the Modify button
- Use the following tabs to prevent certain guests from receiving a Check-In Email:
- Client Types tab will display a list of active client types; use the checkboxes to select client types individually
- Market Segments tab will display a list of market segments; use the checkboxes to select market segments individually
- Rates tab will display a list of active rate plans; use the checkboxes to select rate plans individually
- Note: exclusion rules are not required, if you prefer to send Mobile Check-In Emails to all arrivals regardless of client type, market segment or rate plan, you can leave all checkboxes disabled (unchecked)
- Select the Save button
To collect guest credit card information during Mobile Check-In, one of the following credit card interfaces is required: RoomKeyPMS Payments, Heartland or Shift4 - specifically, i4Go.
If you manually process credit cards outside of the RoomKeyPMS database, an advertisement for RoomKeyPMS Payments will appear in the Mobile Check-In CC Integration tab. In the Mobile Module, within the Check-In tab:
- Select the CC Integration Tab
- Select the Modify button
- Enable the Allow Credit Card entry by Guest checkbox
- Enter information into the following fields:
- Credit Card instructions
- Alternative Payment Method Instructions
- Select the Save button
