The following article outlines how to use the MerchantTrack processor portal to search for a transaction. The most common method to search for a transaction is demonstrated using the last 4-digits of the credit card number, but you can also search by cardholder name, date of transaction, transaction Id, etc.
Please note, this function is permission-based; therefore you will need RoomKeyPMS Payments permission 4010, Transaction Search to proceed.
All computers at the property, regardless if they will be using the interface to process credit cards or not, MUST be updated to Version 11.0.0.0 or above. Please note, this credit card interface is currently available for USA-based clients only.
How to Search for a Transaction in the MerchantTrack Processor Portal
- In the MerchantTrack processor portal, select Transaction Search
- On the Transaction Search page, enter the search criteria (Transaction ID, Date Range Start/End Date, Account Last 4, etc.)
- Select the Search button
