Open the Group that requires date changes. Select the new dates for the Group, then select POST to access the Group Update screen.
Review the following in the Group Updates screen:
1. Block Review
- The existing Block from the original dates will transfer to the new dates.
- Verify that Block numbers match the Group Contract.
- Choose “Move” to keep Block updates, or “Release” to remove all Block.
- Block numbers cannot be edited on this screen.
- Any Block adjustments must be done after applying Date Changes by going to the Block Tab.
2. Rate Review
- Check each date to ensure the Rates align with the Group Contract.
- Choose “Move” to keep any Rate Overrides, or “Clear” to reset Rates to the default amounts.
- If no Rate Overrides are applied, the Rates will automatically update to the daily rates from the attached Rate Plan for the new dates.
- Rates cannot be edited on this screen.
- Rate changes must be made on the Rates Tab after Date Changes are applied.
3. Reservation Review
- Verify each Reservation is being moved to the correct Arrival Date and Number of Nights.
- If something is incorrect, update the Arrival Date and Nights directly in this screen.
- Reservation details can be adjusted here—everything to the right of the Rate column is editable before applying Date Changes.
Select OK to apply the updates. Once the Group updates have been processed, the following message will appear.
To review Block and Rates, go to the “Block” tab and verify that all updates have been applied correctly.
To review Reservations, exit the Group and print the Group Details Report to confirm that all Reservations have updated to the correct dates and rate amounts.
