How to Access & Manage Client Types from the Rate Wizard

At least one Client Type must be attached to each distribution channel to make a rate plan bookable. This article shows you how to create and manage client types, including:


How To Access Client Types from the Rate Wizard

In the Rate Wizard Module

  1. Select the CLIENT TYPES button

The Client Types window will appear

How To Create a New Client Type

In the Client Types window

  1. Select the New button
  2. Complete the following fields in the General tab:
    • Enter the client type Code
    • Enter the client type Name
    • Use the Function drop-down menu to select the applicable client type function
  3. Select the Post button

How To Edit an Existing Client Type

In the Client Types window

  1. Select the Client Type
  2. Select the Modify button
  3. Make the applicable changes in the General tab
  4. Select the Post button

How To Delete a Client Type

In the Client Types window

  1. Select the Client Type
  2. Select the Delete button
  3. In the Confirm window, select the Yes button

How To Activate/Deactivate a Client Type

In the Client Types window

  1. Select the Client Type
  2. Select the On/Off button
  3. In the Confirm window, select the Yes button
    • If the selected client type is not active, this Confirm window will ask: "Change status to Active?"
    • if the selected client type is active, this Confirm window will ask: "Change status to Not Active?"
