The Rate Restriction Override Report can be run two ways:
- By Arrival Date
- By Booking Date
The following article reviews each method.
Rate Restriction Override Report - by Arrival Date
Reports > Reservations > Rate Restriction Override > by Arrival Date
This report shows the Rate Restriction Overrides that were used in reservations on the "stay" dates of the reservation. It does not capture all dates of the reservation, only those dates where the Rate Restriction Override was used.
This report provides the property with an idea of how the use of the overrides affected the dates the reservation was booked for.
Rate Restriction Override Report - by Booking Date
Reports > Reservations > Rate Restriction Override > by Booking Date
This report shows the Rate Restriction Overrides that were used in reservations made on the dates selected (Booking Date or Creation Date)
CTA = Close to Arrival - this gets counted when restriction is on day of arrival
CLOSE - this gets counted when at least one of the days is closed in the stay
LOS = Length of Stay - this gets counted when restriction is on day of arrival
NTS = Number to Sell - this gets counted when at least one of the days, the number left to sell was "0" or a negative number
This report can be used as an audit on how often, or how many times clerks are using the overrides.
