Error Messages showing blank details => it was reported in V11.0.0.7 that when an error occurred in RoomKeyPMS and the "Details" button was selected to view more information regarding the error, that the details were blank. This issue has been resolved and details will now display as they did previously.
Entry Type on RoomKeyPMS Payments Receipts => it was reported that the EMV Credit Card Receipts for RoomKeyPMS Payments were all showing the Entry type as "Swiped". This has now been fixed & enhanced to display the following:
- when a Credit Card is entered using "Chip" and a Pin is entered, "Entry" will display "Chip & Pin" and the receipt will state "PIN Verified"
- when a Credit Card is entered using "Chip" but no Pin was entered, "Entry" will display "Chip" and a signature line will appear at the bottom of the receipt for the guest to sign
- when a Credit Card is tapped, "Entry" will display "Contactless" and a signature line will appear at the bottom of the receipt for the guest to sign
- when a Credit Card is swiped, "Entry" will display "Swiped" and a signature line will appear at the bottom of the receipt for the guest to sign
Shift4 - EMV Device not allowing guest to swipe card => when posting an EMV payment via the Shift4 Interface, if there was a pre-tokenized Credit Card on file, the EMV Device would ask the guest to confirm the payment, but was not allowing the guest to swipe/insert their card. It was simply charging the tokenized Credit Card on file. This issue has been fixed and all EMV transactions will now require the guest to swipe/insert their card before proceeding.
Unable to reverse Shift4 payments => a bug fix from V11.0.0.6 resulted in the inability to right click + reverse on a payment processed via the Shift4 Interface. The user would encounter a "Credit Card details are not available, transaction cannot be processed" message. It was still possible to post a negative payment, this only affected right click + reverse. This issue has now been resolved.
