Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
RoomKeyPMS is excited to announce the addition of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Clerk logins. By enabling this feature, users will be required to enter a one-time code generated by an Authenticator App (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, LastPass, etc.) in addition to their regular password. This extra layer of security ensures that only authorized personnel can access RoomKeyPMS, protecting your data and account from unauthorized access. Click HERE to learn more about this new feature!
The Clerk Module has been enhanced with two new columns for improved visibility and management:
- SSO Bypass: For properties using Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO), this column indicates which Clerks have the "SSO Bypass" option enabled.
- MFA: Easily identify which Clerks have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled.
These additions make it easier for properties to manage security settings at a glance.
NOTE: MFA cannot be used in conjunction with Microsoft SSO Login. However, properties using SSO can still enable MFA for Clerks who have the "SSO Bypass" option checked.
Updated RoomKeyPMS Login Screen
Two tabs will now appear on the RoomKeyPMS Login Screen:
- Login/Password => for Clerks who login to RoomKeyPMS using their Login Name & Password
- Microsoft SSO Login => for Clerks who login to RoomKeyPMS using Microsoft SSO
The Microsoft SSO Login tab will include a link to the Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) Support Documentation for clients who wish to learn more about this feature, which was introduced in Version 11.0.0.40.

Enhanced Security Feature: Automatic System Restart After Password or MFA Changes
To further strengthen the security and ensure a seamless user experience, RoomKeyPMS now automatically restarts whenever a Clerk updates their password or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings. This security enhancement ensures that the correct token information is refreshed immediately, preventing any potential discrepancies between the Clerks’s session and their updated credentials. By automatically restarting, RoomKeyPMS guarantees that the Clerk can continue to work without interruption while maintaining the highest level of security with their latest login information.
Enhancements/Updates:
Charge on Payments text cut off on Reservations Screen => during internal testing, it was observed that when creating a new reservation with a deposit, if the "Charge on Payments" option was enabled on a credit card, the "Amount Including Charge on Payments" text was being truncated. This issue occurred due to the repositioning of the "Disable Online Processing" button. In this version, the issue has been resolved by modifying the text to read "Including Charge on Payments," ensuring it now displays correctly next to the selected card type.
