Version 11.0.0.50 - Sept 8th, 2025

Updated on

NOTE:  This release is currently available to all Windows PC users. A notification will be sent to MAC Users once a new build for the macOS is available.

Enhancements/Updates:

  • Duplex printing no longer functioning for Transaction Register Balance Detail Report => it was reported that the Transaction Register Balance Report could no longer be printed double-sided. Upon investigation, it was determined that this issue resulted from Delphi updates implemented earlier this year, which introduced changes that no longer support double-sided printing for Quick Reports. To resolve this issue, the report has been converted to a FastReport, which restores the ability to print double-sided.
  • Token provided could not be found => Clients using RoomKeyPMS Payments Powered by Fullsteam reported occasionally encountering an error message stating:  "Token provided could not be found" when attempting to process a payment.  To provide greater clarity around the cause of this issue, the message has been updated to the following:  "The token associated with this credit card has expired due to 22 months or more of inactivity. To proceed with the transaction, please re-enter the credit card information."  This update aims to help users better understand the reason behind the failed transaction and guide them on how to resolve it.
  • Landscape printing no longer functioning for Housekeeping Report => it was reported that the Housekeeping Report could no longer be printed in landscape format. Upon investigation, it was determined that this issue was caused by Delphi updates implemented earlier this year, which introduced changes that no longer allow Quick Reports to be printed in landscape format.  To resolve this issue, the report has been converted to a FastReport, which restores landscape printing functionality.
  • Unable to move room on Tape Chart  => it was discovered that when a reservation was assigned to the top room number on the Tape Chart and a user attempted to move it using the drag-and-drop function, the adjacent reservation would be moved instead of the one selected.  This bug has now been resolved, and the correct reservation will move as expected during the drag-and-drop process.
  • Gift Card Reversal Messaging incomplete => it was reported that when creating a Digital Gift Card, if the associated email failed to send, RoomKeyPMS would display only a generic message:  "Transaction Successfully Reversed", without providing context for the reversal.  To improve clarity, the messaging has been updated to first display:  "Email could not be sent. Please contact RoomKeyPMS Support for assistance."  followed by:  "Transaction Successfully Reversed."  This change ensures users are informed of the reason behind the reversal and know how to proceed.
  • Walk-In Authorization not including attached Guest Services => it was reported that when creating a Walk-In Reservation with an attached Guest Service, the system only included the Total Room & Tax in the Guest Folio Credit Limit (the amount to be authorized at Check-In), omitting the Guest Service amount. This issue has been resolved. The system now correctly includes both the Room & Tax and any associated Guest Service charges in the Authorized Amount during the Walk-In Reservation process.
  • OAuth 2.0 Email will be "From" => with the recent update to the Registry tab for Microsoft OAuth 2.0 Authorization, it was discovered that the only way to update the “Email will be 'From' this address” field—without reverting to SMTP/POP3 for sending emails—was to make changes directly in the computer registry.  To address this limitation, the below fields have now been exposed within the Registry Tab for easier configuration.  This update allows users to modify these email settings more conveniently without needing to access the registry or switch email protocols.
    • Email Host System Name
    • Email User Account
    • Email will be 'From' this address
    • SMTP Port #
    • TLS

NOTE:  The "Email will be 'From' this address" field can only be set to a different email address than the Email User Account if the address is configured as an alias within your Microsoft account.

For example, if your Email User Account is [email protected] and you want the "From" address to be [email protected], then [email protected] must be set up as an alias under the Microsoft account associated with [email protected].
